Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2018 Nominees

Since 1986, every year has brought a new crop of inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and every year there’s a lot of finger-crossing prior to the announcement of the year’s nominees, which is promptly followed by a healthy blend of excitement about who’s made the list and annoyance over who hasn’t.

Here at Rhino HQ, we’ve already taken time to deliver our now-traditional glower in the general direction of Cleveland for the continued absence of The Monkees from the nominees list – we’ve found that it’s best to get the glowering out of the way early – and now we’ve slipped into a state of giddiness about the artists from the Rhino family who did earn a nomination.

Here’s the full list of nominees, listed alphabetically in order of number of times they’ve been nominated, but you’ll know ours immediately: they’ll be the ones with Spotify links directly underneath their names.

Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees, and if you don’t end up actually making it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this time around, well, this would definitely be one of those times to remind yourself, “It’s an honor just to be nominated.”

This time, you won’t be kidding yourself. It really is an honor. And we’re darned proud of you.
