In Stores Friday: Pet Shop Boys, FURTHER LISTENING

It’s been a long time coming, but they’re finally here: this Friday finally brings the final three albums in the Pet Shop Boys’ CATALOGUE: 1985-2012 series.

If this is the first you’re hearing about this series, then we’ve clearly fallen down on the job, but to sum it up as succinctly as possible, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have been reissuing all of the albums they released on Parlophone, and we’re in the fourth and final stage of the process.

The final three albums are…

•    BEHAVIOR (1990): featuring “So Hard,” “Being Boring,” Jealousy,” “How Can You Expect to Be Taken Seriously?” and “Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You)”
•    VERY (1993): featuring “Go West,” “I Wouldn’t Normally Do This Kind of Thing,” “Liberation,” and “Can You Forgive Her?”
•    BILINGUAL (1996): featuring “Before,” “Se a vida e (That’s the Way Life Is),” “To Step Aside,” “Single-Bilingual,” “A Red Letter Day,” and “Somewhere”
