Now Available: Fleetwood Mac, THE DANCE / SAY YOU WILL

As we enter into the second weekend of Rocktober, what better way to kick things off than with the vinyl reissue of two classic Fleetwood Mac albums?

After spending several years on hiatus (or some approximation thereof), Fleetwood Mac came roaring back to life with THE DANCE, a live album which found the band’s classic Buckingham-Nicks lineup – that’s Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood – reuniting for a performance that blended classic tracks with a few new numbers and proved so successful that they hit the road again.

A few years after that, Fleetwood Mac hit the studio – albeit without Christine McVie, who had decided at the time that she was going to say adieu to the band (even if she eventually changed her mind) – and emerged with SAY YOU WILL, an LP that took some time to come to fruition but which was, particularly for Buckingham-Nicks fans, absolutely worth the wait.

Both of these albums are now available on vinyl for your purchasing enjoyment, and we don’t mind saying that they sound so great that they’re unquestionably worth every penny. Won’t you please go buy them? If you’re on the fence, we ask that you pretend that we’re going to recite the name of that second album in your ear until you finally break down and do it. If that doesn’t convince you to pick them up, we don’t know what will.

Well, you know, besides the great music that’s contained within their grooves. Frankly, that should be enough anyway!
