Now Available: Wilco, A.M. / BEING THERE – Deluxe Editions

When they originally emerged from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo in 1994, no one could have foreseen how much of an impact Wilco would have on the world of music or how popular they’d end up being. While Jeff Tweedy and company continue to carry on making new music and touring the world and elsewhere, Rhino is taking a look back at the beginning of the band’s career.

As of today, you can pick up Rhino’s deluxe editions of Wilco’s first two albums, A.M. (1995) and BEING THERE (1996), and if you’re a fan, then you’ll definitely want to pick them up, because we’ve remastered them and expanded them to add rare and unreleased music. A.M. will feature eight unreleased bonus tracks, while BEING THERE will offer 15 unreleased bonus tracks, a 20-song live performance from 1996, and four tracks played by the band on KRCW.

A.M.: DELUXE EDITION will be available on CD and double-LP, and before you ask, yes, the bonus tracks will be on the LP, too.  BEING THERE: DELUXE EDITION will be available as a five-CD collection and four-LP set.  Mind you, if you’re a real Wilco fanboy, you’ll want to pop over to wilcoworld.net, where the band is offering exclusive colored vinyl, but just know that they’re limited to 2,500 copies of each album.
