Phil Collins - PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS

You know Phil Collins as a longtime member of Genesis, and you also know him as a hugely successful solo artist in his own right, but unless you’re a proper music geek, you may not realize just how many contributions Collins has made to the work of other artists. You’ll realize it soon, though, if you pick up a copy of a new box set that Rhino’s just released.

PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS is a four-CD set – and, yes, it’s also available digitally – which features 59 tracks, and each of those 59 tracks features our man Phil in some capacity or other, be it through vocals, production, songwriting, drums, or something else entirely. After all, the man’s musically multi-faceted. You know never know what you’ll catch him doing!

Actually, that’s not true: we can tell you exactly what he’s doing on this set, we can tell you who he’s working with, as we’re about to do, and we can tell you that it’s in stores now, so that you can go out and get a copy right away!
