Now Available: Phil Collins, SERIOUS HITS…LIVE! and A HOT NIGHT IN PARIS

Back in late 2015, Rhino began the process of reissuing Phil Collins’ back catalog, and while it took awhile to get all of his studio LPs into the marketplace, we did it, dammit, and we don’t mind saying that we did it well. Beyond that, we also released a well-received singles collection – two different versions of it, in fact, with one digging a bit deeper into his discography than the other – and it was only just this past summer that we released the compilation PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS, which spotlighted some of Phil’s most notable guest appearances on other people’s songs.

Yet even with all of these releases, the fans still continued to plead, “Oh, won’t someone please think of the live albums?!”

At long last, we’ve done just that: as of today, you can pick up newly remastered copies of Phil’s two live albums, SERIOUS HITS… LIVE! and A HOT NIGHT IN PARIS. The former was originally released in 1990 and was such a success that it was certified 4x Platinum, while the latter offered fans the opportunity to hear Phil deliver some jazzier versions of his own songs as well as a few covers. It should be noted that both of these albums are being reissued digitally, on CD, and on vinyl as well, so this is actually the debut of A HOT NIGHT IN PARIS as an LP.
