Now Available: Van Halen, THE JAPANESE SINGLES

You know ‘em, you love ‘em, you can’t get enough of ‘em: they’re Van Halen, and they are now and forever will be remembered as one of the greatest rock bands of the 20th century and beyond. And that’s not just in their native land, by the way: they’re also big in Japan, as evidence by this new set, which offers up the 13 singles released in Japan between 1978 and 1984.

Van Halen’s THE JAPANESE SINGLES features all 13 7” singles, each bearing the original artwork, with all of them housed in a cigarette-style box. There’ll be two versions: one on black vinyl and one on red vinyl. The latter, however, is very, very limited edition – only 750 copies will be pressed – and it’s only available at Rhino.com.
